They are going to start filming in Philadelphia at the end of July first part of August. The story sounds wicked cool. Only one problem, I have no patience and having to wait for all the good Cathy DeBuono stuff is making me crazy...er

yep, this film sounds intriguing...kinda dark, gritty.
I think this Charlie Forest character will bring out an interesting side of Cathy's acting ability we haven't seen before.
umm what the heck exactly is film noir supposed to be?

Film Noir is a French term for "black cinema". It's usage is credited to French film critic Nino Frank to describe the dark, gritty look and nature of American crime films in the 1940s. The Maltese Falcon is one of those. There are others I can't remember off the top of my head. *
The photos Sarah refers to in the Random Thoughts forum (Holy Hotness) are from "Tremble and Spark". It looks like it's going to be really cool.
* I took too many film classes in college.

Thanks for clearing that up Kinna. I’ll consider you the film authority then cause I don't know anything about film. The only movie in recent times I've seen that was referred to as film noir is "the Girl" in 2000.
I am looking forward to seeing what the Tremble and Spark director has up her sleeve with this project. If Cathy’s new photo is a clue, this director is now my favorite freakin’ person.
